Water Mine VR
REM Experience plunges into the water mine of Pla de Santa María, in Tarragona.
The mine, closed to the public, is used to let the water from a nearby town pass to the raft of the factory in El Pla de Santa Maria. Even though the mine can not be accessed, a team of cavers went down and took pictures and videos. Using as reference the audiovisual material of the expedition, REM Experience has created an interactive experience that allows you to enter the mine and explore one of the most unknown assets of the municipality.
Thanks to that, everyone on the village, from the youngest to the oldest, have been able to experience the adventure of knowing from the inside this medieval-era mine, otherwise inaccessible.
With this project, REM experience once again reaches one of the main objectives: to bring culture, history and local heritage to all the people of the site, allowing a more meaningful and lasting experience thanks to the immersion that Virtual Reality entails.
